My story? Okay. It was never easy for me. I was born a poor black child. I remember the days, sittin' on the porch with my family, singin' and dancin' down in Mississippi. Oh excuse me, those are the opening lines to the 1979 Steve Martin film, The Jerk.
Though I can probably draw long and amusing similarities between the story of Navin Johnson and my own life, I’ll save that for another time.
My name is Rob Larsen, I was born at 2:41am in Renton, Washington on the 25th day of June, 1985. As of writing, that makes me roughly 23 and one half years old.
